We love Shoreham and that might be a little obvious when you meet us. So who is the Shoreham Community Association? And what do we do?

We are a group of local community volunteers that strive to create and facilitate an informed and active community. In other words, we work to represent the community and ensure we have a voice on matters that maintain everything we all love about Shoreham. We also like to bring the community together and have a bit of fun along the way.

Our core areas of focus include:

  • Social - promoting and supporting events that the local community can spend time together

  • Advocacy - we promote the interests of the community to Local, State and Federal Government

  • Planning - ensuring development and proposed changes are considered in light of what makes our village special

  • Environment - protecting and maintaining the diverse and in some cases rare native species that still call Shoreham home

Membership and the minimal annual fee of $25 allows us to invest and work with Local Government to ensure we lobby for continued maintenance , funding and improve communal facilities.

A stronger voice across the community gives us a greater chance of being heard and a full representation of what is most important to all of us.
