Winter Solstice Dinner

One of the loveliest evenings of the year was back. A fun community night where we share yummy food, drinks and good company. This year the theme was Middle Eastern so locals were encouraged to wear their best Arabian night attire to have some fun with us at the Shoreham Community Hall.

The get together on Saturday, 21 June was well attended and exceeded our expectations given how cold the weather had been. However with the braziers burning , the open fireplace roaring and a welcoming mulled wine on arrival to warm the cockles, no one really felt cold.

Can I say dear readers that the fare provided by the guests was exceptional. Entrees, mains and desserts aplenty and all truly delicious . It was lovely to see a few new faces in the hall . Our best dressed couple award went to Mr Alan and Mrs Robyn Fisher!
