Dogs on the beach

A reminder that on Saturday 1st March dogs may be once again allowed on the beaches between the hours of 9am - 7pm

BUT DOGS MUST BE LEASHED AT ALL TIMES .

Compliance officers do patrol the beaches and fines will be enforced if dogs are found on beaches out of hours, unleashed or are running through dunes and seagrasses where the red capped plovers nest. This is a state regulation and is not a local government issue.
