On Thursday, 26 March 2026 the footings of the old Shoreham piece appeared for a short while during an extremely low tide. The army took down the pier during WW2 fearing that it could assist the Japanese if they tried to invade Western Port. Luckily our spotter was onto it and took this shot for everyone to see!
